DOUGLAS Crews with Hout Fencing of Wyoming, Inc., are already hard at work on Interstate 25 west of Douglas. A 4.08 mile stretch of I-25 from milepost 145.49 to approximately milepost 150 will be reconstructed this summer by Hout.

Currently, workers are replacing drainage culverts and are moving base materials to a central location. During construction, drivers are cautioned that reduced visibility may exist within the construction zone, especially on windy days. Please observe posted speed limits when traveling through this or any construction zone.

The project is expected to be completed by Oct. 31. The cost of the project is $6.46 million.
