Two houses are set to be moved using WYO 220 this week and next week, and each move will cause traffic delays.

Maz's House Moving will relocate two houses from Alcova to the Bessemer Bend area southwest of Casper. The first house is set to be moved tomorrow (Thursday) beginning at 9 a.m. The house is 32-feet-wide.

The second house will be moved from and to the same areas beginning at 9 a.m., Monday, July 18. This house is 27.5-feet-wide.

Each move is expected to put the homes on WYO 220 for about an hour each. During this time, troopers with the Wyoming Highway Patrol will oversee traffic control, including stopping traffic while the houses negotiate the narrows area. Troopers plan to stop the houses every 10 minutes to allow traffic to pass.

Motorists are advised to be patient during these moves and obey the troopers as they direct traffic.
