Paving crew scheduled for work near Lovell, Basin

A Wyoming Department of Transportation asphalt paving crew is scheduled to finishing paving near Lovell Monday, June 8, and the crew is scheduled to move its operations to the Basin area on Tuesday, June 9.

Weather permitting, about 2,400 tons of asphalt will be placed in the Basin area through June 16 on US 310, US 30, WYO 30, US 16/20, and US 14.

WYDOT’s hot-mix patching operation consists of a four-man paving crew, a roller operator and numerous WYDOT trucks hauling the hot asphalt.

“Please obey posted speed limits during the paving operation, and obey flaggers for safety’s sake,” said Shawn Coggins of Meeteetse, WYDOT paving foreman. “In work zones, pay attention or pay the price.”
