Paving crew working in South Pass area this week
A Wyoming Department of Transportation asphalt paving crew is working in the South Pass area Monday, June 29, through Wednesday, July 1.
Weather permitting, the hot-mix patching work is scheduled on the west side of South Pass (west of the Continental Divide) between Monday, June 29, and Wednesday, July 1.
The WYDOT paving operation consists of a paving crew, a roller operator and numerous WYDOT trucks hauling the hot asphalt.
“Please obey posted speed limits during the paving operation, and obey flaggers and traffic control for safety’s sake,” said Cody Beers, WYDOT public involvement specialist in Riverton. “In work zones, pay attention or pay the price.”
Other WYDOT hot-mix patching is tentatively scheduled near Dubois (July 6-9), Riverton (July 13-15), and Shoshoni (July 16 and July 20).
