Used equipment/vehicles being sold online

The Wyoming Department of Transportation is using online auction web sites to dispose of used equipment, light-duty vehicles, trucks and other heavy equipment.

The web sites are publicsurplus.com and govdeals.com, and citizens are invited to bid on public equipment from Wyoming and other states.

“Our equipment is good quality and well-maintained, and maintenance records are included as part of each purchase,” said Frank Hancock, WYDOT district equipment supervisor in Basin. “We’re inviting citizens to take a look at what we’re offering, and in the coming months we’d expect used police cars, used light trucks, used trucks and used trailers to be available for bid.”
