A Wyoming Department of Transportation asphalt paving crew is scheduled for work later this week east of Dubois on U.S. 26-287.

Weather permitting, the work is scheduled to begin Wednesday, July 28, east of Dubois beginning at milepost 66. Beginning the week of Aug. 2, the paving crew is scheduled for four days of work on Wyoming 28 south of Lander.

The paving crew is then scheduled to move its operation closer to Lander Aug. 9-10 on Wyoming 28, and Sand Draw Road (Wyoming 135) near Riverton on Aug. 11-12.

Earlier this week, the paving crew spent two days paving on U.S. 20-26 east of Shoshoni and on Wyoming 134 (Missouri Valley Road) between Riverton and Shoshoni.

The WYDOT paving operation consists of a paving crew, a roller operator and numerous WYDOT trucks hauling the hot asphalt.

“Please obey posted speed limits during the paving operation, and obey flaggers and traffic control for safety’s sake. Drivers should expect short delays,” said Shawn Coggins, WYDOT paving foreman in Meeteetse. “In work zones, pay attention or pay the price.”
