Hunt promoted to Basin maintenance foreman
 
Rob Hunt has been promoted to maintenance foreman with the Wyoming Department of Transportation in Basin.
 
Prior to his recent promotion, Hunt had served as the Basin crew's heavy equipment operator for nearly seven years.
 
"Rob has done an excellent job as heavy equipment operator, and he's ready to move up to foreman," said Robin Nichols, WYDOT area maintenance supervisor in Basin, Cody, Lovell and Meeteetse. "We're excited to have him leading our Basin crew's work efforts."
 
Hunt was hired Sept. 13, 1999, as a maintenance technician in Basin.
 
The Gillette native is a 1971 graduate of Greybull High School. He lives in Greybull.
 
Hunt was previously employed by Dresser Minerals, Wyo-Ben, Beatrice Foods, and Ron’s Food Farm in Greybull.
 
He is a veteran of the U.S. Army. He served 1972-74 at Fort Bliss, Texas.
