Huckfeldt selected as area maintenance supervisor

Clint Huckfeldt has been selected as an area maintenance supervisor with the Wyoming Department of Transportation in Thermopolis.

Huckfeldt will supervise WYDOT’s maintenance efforts in Thermopolis, Worland, Ten Sleep and Shoshoni.

Huckfeldt, 30, his wife, Brenna, and their two-month-old daughter, Reagan, live in Thermopolis.

“Clint is a bright, ambitious and upcoming guy in the department with a lot of potential. He’s a valuable person at WYDOT, and above all, he’s a good person,” said Ron Huff, District 5 maintenance engineer in Basin. “I’m very pleased he’s part of our maintenance team in northwest Wyoming.”

Huckfeldt replaces Pat Mosbrucker of Riverton, who retired June 1. Huckfeldt has been working in his new position for about a month.

Huckfeldt has worked for WYDOT for nearly 10 years, with the bulk of his department service spent in Arlington working maintenance on Interstate 80. He started his career with WYDOT as a laborer in November 2000, and he was later promoted to crew leader.

Huckfeldt is a Big Horn County native and a 1998 graduate of Lovell High School. He attended the University of Wyoming and studied civil engineering for two years. His hobbies include fly fishing, hunting and camping.

“I am glad to be back in the Big Horn Basin,” Huckfeldt said.
