Berry promoted, earns 10-year service award with WYDOT
 
Cody maintenance foreman Jim Berry has earned his 10-year service award with the Wyoming Department of Transportation.
 
Berry was promoted to maintenance foreman of the Cody maintenance crew on Sept. 1.
 
Berry originally hired on with WYDOT as a transportation technician. He was promoted to heavy equipment operator 8½ years ago.
 
Berry, 49, is a native of San Diego, Calif. Prior to joining WYDOT in 2000, Berry worked for Wild West Construction.
 
He graduated from El Capitan High School in Lakeside, Calif.
 
In his spare time, he is a 20-year member of the Cody Elks Lodge, and he has served 15 years as a lodge officer, including two years as exalted ruler. He also enjoys fishing.
