Railroad crossing replacement projects planned in Worland, Basin
A pair of railroad crossing projects are scheduled to take place this weekend in Worland, and a third crossing is scheduled to be replaced Thursday, Sept. 26, in Basin.
Worland railroad crossings slated for replacement are located at the railroad's intersection with Howell Avenue and Washakie Avenue.
Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway workers are scheduled to complete the Howell Avenue work on Saturday, Sept. 21, and workers are scheduled to complete the Washakie Avenue crossing improvements on Sunday, Sept. 22.
The railroad crossing at Howell Avenue is scheduled for closure Saturday between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., while the railroad crossing at Washakie Avenue is slated for an 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. closure on Sunday.
The Wyoming Avenue railroad crossing in Basin is scheduled for replacement on Thursday, Sept. 26, between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., and the crossing will be closed during this time.
