Casper West Belt Loop opens to traffic

The Casper West Belt Loop connecting the Shoshoni Bypass and U.S. 20/26 on Casper's west side to Wyoming 220 to the southwest is now open to traffic. WYO 70 over Battle Pass closed for winter

Blowing snow and poor visibility forced the closure of WYO 70 over Battle Pass between Encampment and Baggs on Dec. 14. It is the last of the three Wyoming passes that close seasonally to close this year. Transportation Commission awards $26 million in highway contracts
