Aeronautics Commission to meet Feb. 14-15 in Cheyenne

The Wyoming Aeronautics Commission will meet Feb. 14-15 in Cheyenne to attend a legislative reception and hold its monthly business meeting.

The commission will attend the Wyoming Airport Operator Association’s Legislative Reception from 5:30-8:30 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 14 at the Little American Hotel followed by its business meeting at 8:30 a.m., Wednesday, Feb. 15, in the Wyoming Department of Transportation Auditorium at 5300 Bishop Blvd. Commission meetings are open to the public.

The seven commissioners, appointed by the governor for six-year terms, approve grants and loans of state and federal money for airport construction, maintenance, improvements, marketing and air service enhancements.

The commission holds four in-person meetings per year. All other monthly meetings are held by teleconference.
