Aeronautics Commission to meet Nov. 20-21 in Cheyenne

November 6, 2014

The Wyoming Aeronautics Commission will conduct its quarterly meeting on Nov. 21 in Cheyenne.

The meeting will begin at 8:30 a.m. in the second floor conference room of the WYDOT Aeronautics Division Building at 200 E. 8th Ave., and is open to the public.

The previous day the commission will conduct its annual budget and Wyoming Aviation Capital Improvement Program workshop beginning at 1 p.m. at the same location. That meeting also is open to the public.

The seven commissioners, appointed by the governor for six-year terms, approve grants of state and federal money for airport construction, maintenance, improvements, marketing and air service enhancements.

They also can make loans to Wyoming counties, cities, towns and joint powers boards for construction, development and improvement of airport facilities that generate user fees.
