Aeronautics Commission to meet Sept. 15-17 in Jackson

The Wyoming Aeronautics Commission will conduct its quarterly meeting Sept. 17 at the Snow King Hotel in Jackson.

The meeting will begin at 10 a.m., or immediately following a Wyoming Airport Operators’ Association (WAOA) meeting the commission will attend at the Snow King.

Commission members also will attend the annual WAOA conference September 15-16.

Members of the commission, appointed by the governor for six-year terms, approve grants of state and federal money for airport construction, maintenance, improvements, marketing and air service enhancements. They also can make loans to Wyoming counties, cities, towns and joint powers boards for construction, development and improvement of airport facilities generating user fees.
