Aeronautics Commission to meet Sept. 19-22 in Afton

The Wyoming Aeronautics Commission will meet Sept. 19-22 in Afton for the Wyoming Airport Operators Association’s annual conference and a business meeting.

The business meeting will begin at 9 a.m., Sept. 22 at the Afton Civic Center, 150 S. Washington St., Afton, Wyoming.

The meeting is being held in conjunction with the Wyoming Airport Operators Association’s annual conference. Commission meetings are open to the public.

The next regularly scheduled business meeting will be in Casper, Dec. 6-8.

The seven commissioners, appointed by the governor for six-year terms, approve grants and loans of state and federal money for airport construction, maintenance, improvements, marketing and air service enhancements.

The commission holds six in-person meetings per year.
