WYDOT District 5 Public Relations Specialist Cody Beers has been named Industry Partner of the Year by the Wyoming Office of Tourism.

The award was presented for Beers’ efforts during the seven-year project to reconstruct 38 miles of US 26-287 between Dubois and Moran Junction, a section of highway dubbed the Togwotee Trail to Yellowstone.

“Cody was instrumental in the concepts of utilizing the Togwotee Trail ambassadors, building of the Web site, and development of related CDs and brochures that promoted the history and scenery,” said Paula McCormick of the Wind River Visitors Council, who nominated Beers for the award.
