INVITATION FOR BIDS

 

Dubois Municipal Airport

Dubois, Wyoming

 

Sealed bids, subject to the conditions contained herein, for improvements to Dubois Municipal Airport, Dubois, Wyoming, will be received by the Town of Dubois, at the Dubois Town Hall, 712 Meckem Street, Dubois, Wyoming, 82513, until May 15, 2014, 1:00 PM local time, and then publicly opened and read aloud.

 

The work involved will include the following:

 

AIP Project No. 3-56-0010-15

WYDOT Project No. U25-8B

Schedule I - Runway 10/28 Realignment (6,700’)

This project also includes pavement removal, wildlife fencing, pavement underdrain system, storm drainage improvements, pavement markings, and new airfield lighting, signage and navigational aids.

 

Construction of this project is expected to be completed in 150 Calendar Days.

 

Contract Documents. The complete set of Plans, Specifications, and Contract Documents can be obtained from Short Elliott Hendrickson Inc., 2000 South Colorado Blvd., Suite 6000, Colorado Center Tower One, Denver, CO 80222-7938 beginning on April 15, 2014.  The Plans, Specifications, and Contract Documents can be purchased at a non-refundable cost of $100.00 via check made payable to “SEH, Inc.”.

 

Pre-Bid Conference.  The pre-bid conference for this project will be held on May 1, 2014, 1:00 PM local time, at the Dubois Town Hall, 712 Meckem Street, Dubois, Wyoming, 82513. 

 

Bid Conditions.  The bidder is required to provide all information as required within the Contract Documents.  The bidder is required to bid on all items of every schedule or as otherwise detailed in the Instructions to Bidders.

 

Bids may be held by The Town of Dubois for a period not to exceed 90 Days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of evaluating bids prior to award of contract.

 

The Town of Dubois reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informality in the bids received.

Bid Bond.  Guarantee will be required with each bid as a certified check on a solvent bank or a bid bond in the amount of five (5) % of the total amount of the bid, made payable to the Town of Dubois, WY.

 

Performance & Payment Bond. The successful bidder will be required to furnish separate performance and payment bonds each in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price.
