The contractor Reiman Corp from Cheyenne WY has started working on the Lewis Street project.  They will be working on the Bridge and the streets in the vicinity of the bridge, Lewis Street, Marion Street, Dow Street and Alger Street.

The contractor is working on the Lewis Street bridge over Big Goose Creek and traffic will be narrowed to one lane in each direction controlled with a flagging operation from Dow Street to Marion Street North of the Bridge.  This will only be during daytime hours.  The road will be re-opened to two lanes at night.

The contractor has removed the trees on Alger Street and will begin removing the road surface, curb, gutter and sidewalk on March 27th.  Alger Street will then be closed to thru traffic from the Brooks to Dow Street.

Library Book Drop will be temporarily relocated to Brooks Street just North of Alger.

Mill Park is closed and will remain closed to pedestrians for the remainder of the project.

Marion Street south of the bridge is closed and will remain closed for the remainder of the project.
