Organ donor task force to gather for first meeting

The Wyoming Organ, Tissue and Eye Donor Task Force will review existing practices for state wide organ donor programs and options for improving donor registration Sept. 25 at the Wyoming Department of Transportation in Cheyenne.

The task force will meet 9:30 a.m.-4 p.m. in the I-80 Room of WYDOT’s Training Building, 5300 Bishop Blvd.

All meetings are open to the public.

The task force was created by the legislature during the 2018 session. Sept. 25 will be its first meeting. The task force has eight members appointed by the governor which will submit a report providing recommendations to the governor and the Joint Labor, Health and Social Services Interim Committee.
