Public meeting to discuss Specific Service Signing Program set Aug. 21
CASPER - Wyoming Department of Transportation officials will host a public meeting on August 21 to discuss possible changes to WYDOT's Specific Service Signing Program.
The meeting will begin at 4 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 21 at the WYDOT District 2 Headquarters, 900 Bryan Stock Trail, Casper.
The Specific Service Signing Program oversees signs using (business) logo panels that provide specific information about gas, food, lodging, camping, attractions, and 24-hour pharmacy facilities that are accessible from various interchanges throughout the state. Local examples include the blue service signs along Interstate 25.
While this is a drop-in style event and people are encouraged to participate at any after 4 p.m., there will be a presentation about the signing program and potential updates and/or changes to be discussed, at the beginning of the meeting.
Representatives with the WYDOT Traffic Program will be on hand to discuss the changes under consideration and take input from business owners currently using the program, and other interested parties, on improving the program.
