Snowy Range Road traffic to be detoured to Garfield and Cedar streets

April 7, 2017

Display_ 0261020tc01-DefaultAs part of the Harney Street Bridge project in Laramie, traffic on Snowy Range Road (WYO 130/230) will be detoured onto Garfield and Cedar streets for several months.

The detour will begin April 10 and will continue through most of the summer.

Westbound traffic coming over the Clark Street Bridge from downtown Laramie will be diverted to Cedar Street and then to Garfield Street to rejoin Snowy Range Road west of the Laramie River.

Eastbound traffic toward downtown Laramie will have the same detour in the opposite direction.

While traffic is being detoured, crews will be widening the Snowy Range Road bridge over the Laramie River and working to rebuild a section of that road.

The $23.5 million Harney Street Bridge project remains on schedule with a tentative completion and opening date in the fall of 2018.
