Teton Pass may see intermittent closures

February 21, 2017

Motorists may see intermittent closures of Teton Pass (WYO 22) over the next few days.

Wyoming Department of Transportation crews may need to do avalanche control work in the area because of additional snow accumulation.

Teton Pass, which is between the Idaho state line and Jackson, is expected to get an additional six to 12 inches of snow through midday Wednesday, Feb. 22, said Mark Heuer, a meteorologist with DayWeather. Later in the week, snow will taper off and winds will become less intense.

Motorists can check WYDOT’s 511 Travel and Information website for the latest on Teton Pass closures and for all road-related information.
