Three driver's license offices will have temporary closures in January

Three Wyoming driver’s license offices will have temporary closures over the next couple of weeks for renovations, training and for holidays.

The Gillette driver’s license office will be closed Jan. 8-15 for renovation and the holiday. The office will reopen on Jan. 16.

The office needs new flooring and other updates.

While the office is closed, drivers can still use other nearby locations for drivers licensing needs.

Other locations open near Gillette:    

  • Sheridan, 1949 Sugarland Drive No. 169 – closed Wednesday, Jan. 10;
  • Buffalo, 350 E. Hart – open on Wednesday, Jan. 10;
  • Newcastle, 723 Washington Blvd. – closed Monday, Jan. 8 and Thursday, Jan. 11;
  • Sundance, 224 S. 29th Street – open Monday, Jan. 8 and Thursday, Jan. 11).

All locations are closed Jan. 15 in recognition of Equality Day.

Kemmerer’s driver’s license office closed from 8 a.m.-2 p.m., Jan. 25, for training.

And Pinedale’s driver’s license office will have a delayed opening at 10 a.m. on Jan. 2 for the New Year holiday.
