US 191/189 reopens

US 191/189 between Daniel Junction and Hoback Junction reopened at noon Friday, July 22.
The highway had been closed for five days while U.S. Forest Service crews battled the Cliff Creek fire north of Bondurant.
The wildfire in the Bridger-Teton National Forest has burned more than 11,500 acres, and is only 10 percent contained. High winds, high temperatures and low humidity forecast today make it likely the fire will grow further.
US 191/189 was closed Sunday when the fire burned across the highway and smoke began causing ongoing visibility problems.
