West River Road public meeting is May 23 in Worland

Washakie County residents are invited to attend a May 23 public meeting on the Ten Mile Creek Section of Wyoming 433 in Worland.

The Ten Mile Creek Section -- also known as West River Road -- public meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, May 23, at the Washakie County Fairgrounds.

Phase 1 of the Wyoming 433 (West River Road) project includes the roadway between milepost 0.66 (near the Worland cemetery) and milepost 4.1. The 3.45-mile project is currently scheduled for bid letting in WYDOT Fiscal Year 2014.

"The Wyoming Department of Transportation and design consultant Vista West Engineering of Sheridan would like your input concerning this project at the May 23 meeting at the Washakie County Fairgrounds," said WYDOT Worland Resident Engineer Dan McAfee.
