Work on US 287 to limit access from Howe Road

The Wyoming Department of Transportation will be conducting paving operations on US 287 south of Laramie this week and access to the highway from Howe Road will be restricted while work takes place.

Crews are planning to perform the work on Wednesday, June 14, during daylight hours. Work should be complete by the evening.

This work was originally scheduled for June 5, but the asphalt plant WYDOT planned to use had mechanical problems that day.

US 287 will be reduced to one lane of travel. Traffic will be allowed through the work zone one direction at a time. Delays should be expected.

Residents who access US 287 from Howe Road will be unable to do so. Instead, those residents should find an alternate route.
