WYDOT reopens several roads in northeast Wyoming

April 25, 2017

The Wyoming Department of Transportation has reopened sections of interstates 25 and 90, and US 16 in northeast Wyoming after they were closed earlier in the day due to heavy wet snow.

WYDOT reopened I-25 from Buffalo to Kaycee and I-90 from Sheridan to Buffalo around 3 p.m. on April 25. WYDOT also reopened US 16 from Buffalo to Ten Sleep around 1:30. I-90 from Buffalo to Gillette reopened around 5 p.m.

Roads in the northeast corner of Wyoming will most likely continue to be wet to slick in spots with areas of snow fall. Motorists are encouraged to slow down and use caution.
