WYO 193 from the I-90 Piney Creek Interchange to WYO 194 at Story Temporarily Closed

Wyoming Department of Transportation officials have temporarily closed WYO 193 between the Interstate 90 Piney Creek Interchange and the junction of WYO 194 at Story Thursday morning due to flooding that caused damage to the temporary bridge that crosses North Piney Creek.  The high water has eroded around one of the abutments.

The temporary bridge was put in place due to a re-construction project that was taking place in the area.  Reiman Corp a contractor from Cheyenne, Wyoming began a 6-mile widen and overlay project with some isolated reconstruction late last summer. The project included replacing the North Piney Creek bridges. The $12.7 million project is scheduled to be completed this fall. 

WYDOT and the contractor are working to repair the damages to the bridge and re-open the road to traffic as soon as possible.
