Vince Tomassi

Chairman Vince Tomassi of Kemmerer represents Aeronautics District 2, which includes Teton, Sublette, Lincoln, Uinta, Sweetwater and Carbon counties. Tomassi was appointed to a six-year term on the commission in 2003. Tomassi graduated from Big Piney High School and Eastern Montana College in Billings. He spent four years teaching school in Montana and Oregon. Upon returning to Wyoming, he went into business with his father and brother running a GM and Ford dealership and Luigi's Restaurant. He served on Kemmerer and Lincoln County Airport Boards and is currently a member of the GM Western Regional Dealer Council.      Term: 3/1/09 to 3/1/2015

Jerry Dilts

Jerry Dilts is a private pilot with a single engine land and rotor-craft rating. He graduated from Douglas High School and Northeastern Jr. College in Sterling, Colo. and is a lifelong rancher in Campbell and Converse Counties. He is a graduate of Wyoming Leadership Education and Development Class IV and past president of its alumni association. Dilts has served on the Campbell County School Board and was on the DEQ Air Quality Advisory Board under the Sullivan Administration. He currently is a member of the Wyoming Stock Growers Association, member and past president of the Wyoming Wool Growers Association, and president of the Campbell County Wool Warehouse Cooperative. Dilts is the secretary-treasurer of the Campbell County Animal Control Board, and the current president of the Campbell County Airport Board where he has been a member since 2008. He has three children and four grandchildren.  Term: 3/1/11 to 3/1/2017 

Carrol Orrison

Carrol Orrison represents District 3 which includes Fremont, Natrona, Converse and Niobrara counties on the commission. He has been a licensed pilot since 1955, has his ASMEL, instrument and commercial ratings, and more than 7,000 hours of flying time. He has experience as a fixed-base operator, charter air service pilot and owner, and a shareholder in a private commercial airline. Orrison’s more than 27 years of public service include a previous six-year term on the Aeronautics Commission under Gov. Stan Hathaway, six years representing Laramie County in the Wyoming House of Representatives, and terms on the Public Employees Retirement System Board and the state Board of Equalization/Tax Commission. A native of Oklahoma, he has been a beer wholesaler in Wyoming for 48 years, and is president of Casper Beverage. Term: 3/1/07 to 3/1/2013

Charlie Ksir

Charles Ksir represents Aeronautics Commission District 1, which includes Albany, Laramie, Platte and Goshen counties. Ksir was appointed to a six-year term on the commission in 2005. He has been a professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Wyoming since 1972, teaching and conducting research in psychopharmocology (drugs that affect the brain and behavior). Now retired from active research, he continues to teach part time and to make updates to his textbook, Drugs, Society, and Human Behavior. During his time at the university, he was a department head, associate vice president and served four years as dean of the College of Education. He was on the Albany County School Board for nine years. Ksir has been a pilot since 1990, and he and his wife, Sandy, own a Cessna TR182 that they use to visit family in New Mexico and California. They also enjoy spending time at their cabin near Centennial. Term: 3/1/11 to 3/1/2017

Chuck Wilkie

Chuck Wilkie of Worland represents the Aeronautics District 4, which includes Washakie, Hot Springs, Park and Big Horn counties. He was appointed to a six-year term on the commission in 2011. Wilkie graduated with a bachelor's degree from the University of Wyoming and master's degree from the University of Nevada-Reno. Both degrees are in range science. He retired after a 36-year career with the Bureau of Land Management, where he led the coal leasing EIS team in the Powder River Basin for six years. He has been involved in the Washakie County community efforts since his retirement in 2000, and was a member of the Washakie Economic Development Association for six years.

Pete Schoonmaker

Peter Schoonmaker represents Aeronautics Commission District 5, which includes Sheridan, Johnson, Campbell, Weston and Crook counties. Schoonmaker is CEO and president of Pinnacle Gas Resources Inc. and has served as director since February 2006. In 1985, Schoonmaker served as president, owner and operator of a land and agricultural company based in Colorado and Wyoming. In 1995, Schoonmaker joined U.S. Energy, a publicly held mining and energy company, where he served as land manager before becoming executive vice president and director of Yellowstone Fuels Corporation, a subsidiary of the U.S. Energy. In November 1999, U.S. Energy formed Rocky Mountain Gas, a coal bed natural gas company. Schoonmaker served as president, chief operating officer and director of Rocky Mountain Gas from its inception until June 23, 2003. Schoonmaker is also a director for the Sheridan-based Whitney Foundation, the second largest foundation in Wyoming that provides educational loans in northern Wyoming. Schoonmaker received his pilot's license in 1997. Schoonmaker, his wife Janice and their two children live in Sheridan.  Term: 3/01/09 to 3/01/2015

Doyle Vaughan

Doyle Vaughan has lived in Jackson since 1984. He served two five-year terms on the Jackson Hole Airport Board with two of those years as chairman. He was employed as a captain for Southwest Airlines for over 20 years. He served as an instructor pilot for the US Army Primary Helicopter School at Ft. Wolters, Texas, during the Vietnam War. After retiring from Southwest, Vaughan and his wife, Diana, founded Vaughan Distibuting, which markets synthetic lubricants. Vaughan holds  pilot certificate No. 1441331 with airline transport type ratings, and Boeing 737 helicopter and commercial helicopter endorsements. His total flight hours exceed 28,000 accident- and incident-free flying. Term: 7/1/09 to 3/1/2014
