Medical Waivers

Federal standards prevent issuing CDLs to people with some disabilities or physical limitations. However, the FMCSA  will waive the standards for some medical and vision conditions, if you can demonstrate the condition is stable and does not interfere with the safe operation of a heavy vehicle.
