This uses strip finite element analysis to determine the wheel load distribution factor for any axle spacing or width, and any tire configuration of a truck placed at any position on the bridge deck. AASHTO formulas are based on empirical data and are only applicable to 6-foot-axle widths. This program will also give results for a simple beam "deck to girder" analysis for dead loads.
