Motorists will see detours on US 85 southbound ramp to I-25

Traffic using the US 85 southbound ramp to access I-25 north and south near Cheyenne will be detoured starting Monday, May 16 so crews can do concrete slab replacement. Motorists will be detoured onto Yellowstone Road (WYO 219) southbound to the Iron Mountain intersection. Traffic will then head west onto Iron Mountain Road (WYO 211) to I-25. Wagonhound and Fort Steele rest areas closed on I-80

Two rest areas along I-80 between Rawlins and Laramie are closed for repairs. The Wyoming Department of Transportation closed the Wagonhound rest area on Thursday due to structural issues. The agency doesn’t have a time frame as to when that rest area will reopen.
