Aeronautics Commission schedules Sept. 16 teleconference

The Wyoming Aeronautics Commission will convene at 1:30 p.m. on Sept. 16 for a teleconference to consider uses for additional Airport Improvement Program funding.

The meeting is open to the public, and for additional information or to arrange to participate in the teleconference, please call the Wyoming Aeronautics Division at 777-3952.

The commission approves state and federal funding for airport construction, maintenance, improvements, marketing and air service enhancements. It also can make loans to Wyoming cities, towns, counties and joint powers boards for construction, development and improvement of airport facilities generating user fees.

The seven commissioners appointed by the governor conduct quarterly meetings supplemented by teleconferences on the third Tuesday of each of the other eight months.
