Aeronautics Commission schedules special teleconference meeting

The Wyoming Aeronautics Commission will conduct a special teleconference meeting beginning at 1:30 p.m. Sept. 3 to approve modifications to the Wyoming Aviation Capital Improvement Program.

The modifications are due to additional federal funds becoming available for airport projects.

The Aeronautics Commission approves state and federal funding for airport construction, maintenance, improvements, marketing and air service enhancements. It also can make loans to Wyoming counties, cities, towns and joint powers boards for construction, development and improvement of airport facilities generating user fees.

The seven commissioners are appointed by the governor for six-year terms.
