Aeronautics Commission to meet Feb. 24-25 in Cheyenne

Members of the Wyoming Aeronautics Commission will attend the Wyoming Airport Operators Legislative Reception on Feb. 24, and then conduct a quarterly business meeting on Feb. 25, both in Cheyenne.

The Legislative Reception Wednesday will begin at 5:30 p.m. in Grand Ballroom B of the Little America Hotel and Resort.

The business meeting the following day will begin at 8:30 a.m. in the second-floor conference room at the WYDOT Aeronautics Division Building, 200 E. 8th Ave.

The seven commissioners, appointed by the governor for six-year terms, approve grants and loans of state and federal money for airport construction, maintenance, improvements, marketing and air service enhancements.

They meet in person quarterly, and conduct teleconferences on the third Tuesday of each of the other eight months.
