Effective July 1, 2026, the Wyoming Department of Transportation, Fuel Tax Administration shifted the collection, remittance and reporting of fuel taxes on electricity sold publicly for the purpose of charging electric vehicles from Level 2 & Level 3 EV chargers to strictly Level 3/DC fast-charging stations/EV Superchargers.
