The Wyoming Department of Transportation funded a moose-collaring study to track the movements of moose near the project area.  Wyoming Game and Fish Department (WGFD) personnel deployed GPS tracking collars on 10 cow moose in March 2019 in the area surrounding the Snake River Bridge on Wyoming Highway 22 west of Jackson. The collars are programmed to collect a GPS location every 30 minutes and will collect data for approximately 2 and a half years.
