Teton Pass opening delayed, Hoback Canyon reopens

The Wyoming Department of Transportation has pushed back the opening of Teton Pass to at least Sunday, Feb. 12. Crews had hoped to open Teton Pass on Saturday, but delayed it because of the large amounts of snow that have come down on Glory Bowl and Twin slide paths. WYDOT to close Wagonhound rest area Monday

The Wyoming Department of Transportation will close the Wagonhound rest area on Monday, Feb. 13 so crews can remove four damaged light poles. Crews will close the Wagonhound rest area, which is 50 miles west of Laramie, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. so a crane can remove the damaged poles. The Wyoming Department of Transportation reopened Snake River and Hoback canyons on Friday, Feb. 10. Crews reopened Snake River Canyon (US 26-89), west of Hoback Junction, around 10 a.m. Hoback Canyon (US 189-191), south of Jackson and southeast of Hoback Junction, reopened around noon.
