More than 100 crashes reported during spring storm

Landslide affects traffic on US 14 southeast of Sheridan

A landslide on Jim Creek Hill about 15 miles southeast of Sheridan has resulted in a temporary detour and reduced speed limit of 30 mph on US Highway 14. WYDOT geologists have been monitoring the slide since early spring, and  significant movement last week prompted maintenance crews to grade and pave a detour into the hillside beside the road to move traffic away from the slide below the highway....

Highways in Kemmerer-Opal area reopen

US 30 and WYO 240 in the Opal-Kemmerer reopened Thursday after being closed the previous day due to a fire caused by an explosion at the Williams Gas Plant. Transportation Commission awards $24 million in highway contracts

Contracts totaling $24.4 million for 12 highway projects around the state, including two made possible by increased fuel tax revenue, were awarded by the Wyoming Transportation Commission during its April meeting.
