2016 Year-end Review

In 2016, WYDOT gained twenty-six new customers who are taking advantage of interstate service signing.  The Specific Service Signing program finished 2016 with 441 service types participating in the Specific Service Signing Program.

A logo signing contract involving maintenance work and logo sign upgrades was performed by S & L Industrial.  The critical repair construction project for the replacement and upgrading of logo signs encompassed Districts 1, 2, and 4 along I-25 and I-90.  This project began the spring of 2016 involving 96 signs, equaling nearly 7,000 square feet, and was completed in October 2016.

WYDOT will continue with the replacement of specific service signs in the most critical condition along I-80 in the spring of 2017.  This construction project for the upgrading of logo signs will include Districts 1 and 3. The 2017 project involves 37 signs, equaling nearly 2,000 square feet.
