Work on Casper I-25 overpass continues, switching lanes

September 19, 2019

CASPER - Work continues on the resurfacing of two bridges over Walsh Drive on Interstate 25 in Casper.

On Friday, Sept. 20, crews will switch traffic in the southbound lanes, closing the passing lane and reopening the driving (right) lane. They’ll begin working on the passing lane. Though the driving lane will be open, the southbound on ramp from Yellowstone Highway will remain closed. To access southbound I-25 from Yellowstone, or the Beverly Street/Bryan Stock Trail area, use the McKinley Street on ramp or the Curtis Street/Wyoming Boulevard interchange.

On Monday, Sept. 23, crews will also begin working on the northbound driving lane. This will necessitate the closure of the northbound on ramp at the Curtis Street/Wyoming Boulevard interchange. To access I-25 northbound from this area, use the Beverly Street/Bryan Stock Trail on ramp. The on ramp will remain closed until all work is completed in the northbound lanes.

Speed through the work zone is set at 45 mph.
