WYDOT to hold STIP meetings in northwest Wyoming

The Wyoming Department of Transportation will hold several State Transportation Improvement (STIP) meetings in northwest Wyoming in August.

WYDOT officials will discuss the STIP, which is an official planning document the department uses to make road improvements throughout the state.

The meetings will be held on the following dates:

  • Aug. 14 — 9:30 a.m., Grizzly Hall, Park County Library, 1500 Heart Mountain St., Cody.
  • Aug. 14 — 1:30 p.m., Commission Chambers, Big Horn County Courthouse, 420 West C, Basin.
  • Aug. 16 — 9:30 a.m., Commission Chambers, Washakie County Courthouse, 1001 Big Horn Ave., Worland.
  • Aug. 16 — 1:30 p.m., Hot Springs County Annex Building, 117 N. 4th St., Thermopolis.
  • Aug. 17 — 9:30 a.m., Commission Chambers, Fremont County Courthouse, 450 N. 2nd St., Lander.

WYDOT uses the STIP along with many other methods to manage the state’s road assets such as needs analysis, construction and maintenance.
