County Line West Section, Tensleep - Buffalo, Washakie County

WYDOT reconstruct a section of US Highway 16 in Washakie County between the towns of Ten Sleep and Buffalo. More specifically the project begins just south of the Bighorn County line (MP 43.98) and continues just north of the Tensleep Creek Bridge (MP 41.72).

The study area for this EA includes an area surrounding the 1.3-mile section of US 85 (MP 236.8 to MP 238.1) located approximately 8 miles north of Newcastle and approximately 20 miles south of the Black Hills National Forest.

High Plains Road Interchange

A new interchange is open on I-25 south of Cheyenne about five miles north of the Colorado state line. The interchange is between the Terry Ranch Road (Exit 2) and College Drive (Exit 7) interchanges. The project was supported by the Cheyenne Metropolitan Planning Organization, Laramie County, the city of Cheyenne and the Cheyenne-Laramie County Corporation for Economic Development.

North Sybille Creek

The Wyoming Department of Transportation improved Wyoming Highway 34 through Sybille Canyon

Steamboat Point

The Wyoming Department of Transportation improved a 6.1-mile section of US Highway 14 (US 14) in Sheridan County. The Steamboat Point Section of US 14 begins approximately 8 miles east of Burgess Junction at mile post (MP) 65.01 and extends eastward to MP 71.1. This section of US 14 lies entirely within the Bighorn National Forest and Wyoming State lands.

Togwotee Pass EIS

The project improved approximately 37.7 miles of US 287/26 from Moran Junction east to the Shoshone National Forest boundary in Wyoming (mileposts 3.01 to 40.71). Primary improvements to the roadway corridor included adding shoulders and clear zones, repairing landslide areas, and correcting substandard horizontal and vertical curves. This project also improved deteriorating bridges, enhance pullouts, consolidate recreational parking, and provide snowmobile under-crossings.

Wyoming 70 Slide Repair

The Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) remediated a portion of WYO Highway 70 between Baggs and Encampment at reference marker (RM) 30.5. The project is located in Carbon County within the Medicine Bow/Routt National Forest, 30.5 miles east of Baggs, 27 miles west of Encampment. The project is approximately 0.9 miles in length.
