WYDOT specifications require personnel and equipment to be certified to work on WYDOT projects.
Certification programs have been established for materials testing technicians, traffic control supervisors and equipment used to test smoothness of pavements.

Determine Certification or Qualification status for Aggregate, Asphalt, Concrete, High Speed Inertial Profiler and Pavement Smoothness Operator. Please note the "name" entered must match the "name" presented at the time of certification.
No notice of certification expiration will be sent. Certified technicians are responsible for obtaining their recertification.

THE MIDPOINT RECERTIFICATION HAS BEEN ELIMINATED.
Current Certified Technicians' renewal dates, now expiration date, will be extended to six years from original date certified for the Soils and Aggregates and Asphalt Concrete certifications. Portland Cement renewal dates will be extended to five years from original date certified. Updated cards will be issued for the current Certified Technicians. Technicians certifying for the 2015 -2016 and future classes will be certified for five years. All Certified Technicians will be subject to a five year renewal period for each class type at which time the technician is required to retake the certification class(es).
